Eye Makeup Trends for Everyday Wear

Spring has sprung, and Fashion Week 2018 brought some beautiful looks to the stage, including gorgeous glittering eyes. Not sure how to bring that fashion forward look off the runway and into to your life? Here are five #pictureperfect ways you can rock the trends with Sheer Miracle’s natural beauty products.

Put a pop of lilac on your peepers with Passion.

Trends to try: Dip a damp eye liner brush into the powder to create a liquid liner, then draw a thick liner from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. Or make an even bolder choice with the reverse liner—only mascara on top and a thick, jewel-toned color on the lower lash line. Trés chic!

Go for the glamorous version of the no-makeup makeup look with Beige.

Trends to try: Using an eye shadow brush, apply shadow from lash to brow, then delicately use the tip of the brush to line the under eye. Wanna step up your game? After applying concealer, use a crease brush to apply shadow only to the inner corner, then blend into the lash line on top and bottom.

Channel your inner fairy with Forest.

Trends to try: Again, dip a damp eye liner brush into the powder to create a liquid liner. Draw in a full lid and a thick under eye liner. The more underneath, the better. Feeling brave? Use a damp eye liner brush to draw in alternative shapes, like lightning bolts, that don’t follow the natural contour of the eye. Barbells, triangles… the sky’s, uh, geometry’s the limit.

Refresh your standby smokey eye with a hint-y of Minty.

Trends to try: After applying your normal black/grey shadow and liner, dip a damp bent eye liner brush into the powder to create a fine point liquid liner. Apply a very thin line tight to the lashes around the entire eye. Add extra flair with a cat eye flick, which is a snap with the bent eye liner brush.

The “thumb print” eye liner isn’t just for colors and neutrals. Dip your ring finger in the powder, then apply it to the inner corner of the eye for a subtle but unmistakable sparkle of spring. Bring the glimmer to the next level by applying it to your brow bone and the top of your cheekbone for a lazy girl’s contour that’s as charming as it is easy.

I’ll post pics of these makeup trends during the rest of the season, so follow me to see them in action, and tag me on Instagram (@gia_mora) or on Twitter (@miz_mora) to show me your creations. Happy adventures in makeup!
